This software requires Windows 8 or later. The Windows Phone 8.0 Emulator requires a SLAT PC and Hardware Virtualization enabled in the BIOS. On a non-SLAT PC, you can use the SDK but cannot launch and validate your application on the Windows Phone 8 emulator. You can use a Windows Phone 8 device to validate your application.
